Leading Thai hotel operator Centara Hotels & Resorts has entered into a Hotel Management Agreement (HMA) with Hua Hin Pearl Resort Company to launch a new resort, Centra by Centara Cha Am Beach Resort Hua Hin.
The 190-key midscale resort has been revamped by Hua Hin Pearl and is slated to open in April. It is located on the Cha Am beachfront, a few hours from Bangkok or 30 minutes from Hua Hin by car.
Visitors can expect upgraded swimming pool facilities, a new restaurant and a new beach bar. The company has also added units with pool access.
There will be a fitness centre, a kids’ club that provides supervised games and activities for children and teens, as well as a full-service spa named “Cense by Spa Cenvaree”.
The resort will also have three meeting rooms with a total capacity of 300.
Centara will be launching and managing the resort, together with its other 75 properties in major Thai destinations, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, China, Japan, Oman, Qatar, Cambodia, Turkey, Indonesia and the UAE.
Hua Hin is one of Thailand’s high-growth tourist destinations. Its airport has recently been expanded and there are now two-way flights to and from Kuala Lumpur thrice a week.
