This past weekend was the launch of the 716-unit Whistler Grand by City Developments Ltd (CDL). As at 5pm on Sunday (Nov 4), CDL sold 160 out of 240 units launched at an average price of $1,380 psf. About 91% of the buyers are Singaporeans while 9% are foreigners and Singapore Permanent Residents (PRs).
"In view of the current market, we are encouraged by the good take up on Whistler Grand's first weekend launch,” says Lee Mei Ling CDL head of property development. She attributes it to a combination of affordability; good location; and the project’s appealing design.

Considered the most affordable launch in 4Q2018, prices start from $608,000 for a one-bedroom; $792,000 for a two-bedroom; $1.198 million for a three-bedroom; $1.568 million for a four-bedroom; and $1.788 million for a five-bedroom. There are dual-key options for three- and four-bedroomunits. Sizes range from 441 sq ft for a one-bedroom to 1,442 sq ft for a five-bedroom unit. There are also two five-bedroom flexi penthouses.
Whistler Grand is located at West Coast Vale, near Jurong Lake District, the second CBD. It is within easy access to four MRT stations: Jurong East MRT interchange station for the East-West and North-South Lines; Clementi MRT station on the East-West Line; the upcoming Pandan Reservoir MRT station on the Jurong Region MRT Line; and a future MRT station on the Cross Island MRT Line.
