Prior to joining CDL this year, Ong had been at CapitaLand from 2011 and was commercial head of global asset management. Before that, she was head of real estate at Cambridge Industrial Trust Management Limited. She is a CFA charter-holder and member of the Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers. She holds a Master of Science in Applied Finance from the Singapore Management University.

Meanwhile, a new Property Development Division has been created to consolidate departments involved in developing CDL’s Singapore properties. It is led by Lee Mei Ling, who has become executive vice-president and head of property development from June 1. She was previously senior vice-president and head of sales and marketing. Her team is responsible for the entire lifespan of a development such as advising on land tenders, project design, construction, and after-sales service.
