CBRE Singapore appoints new head of sustainability & ESG consulting services

SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - CBRE has appointed David Fogarty as executive director and head of sustainability and ESG (environmental, social and governance) consulting services for Singapore and Southeast Asia. As the chief of this department in the region, Fogarty will develop and implement business plans for the growth of sustainability in Singapore and the Southeast Asian region.

“The pandemic has contributed to a greater focus on ESG, and we have noticed significant interest for ESG from investors and occupiers; hence, it is crucial for us to strengthen our team and be in this space to meet the growing demand,” says Moray Armstrong, managing director of Singapore Advisory Services at CBRE.

Before his new appointment, Fogarty was CBRE’s executive managing director, property management, UK. He will move to Singapore for his new role.



He also has 25 years of experience in commercial real estate and has been previously based in the UK, Australia, and Singapore. During his time with CBRE, he helped to double the size of the CBRE property management business in Southeast Asia, create the sustainability business line, as well as introduce digitalisation to the business.
