SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - CBRE has appointed Clemence Lee as senior director of its Singapore capital markets team.

Lee brings with him eight years of real estate experience, representing clients in transactions of investment properties worth $10 million to $100 million. He will report to Michael Tay, head of capital markets, Singapore.

“[Lee’s] addition is part of our ongoing commitment to always deepen our capabilities across assets in achieving sustainable growth for the business. His market knowledge and proven track record – particularly his niche in the strata commercial and shophouse sectors – will further boost our capital markets offerings and the high quality of service that clients have come to expect from CBRE,” comments Tay.

Lee was previously at JLL as senior director of capital markets, where he led a team focusing on mid-market investment properties.

Over the past five years, Lee has transacted $900 million worth of properties, which includes several high-profile deals such as the sale of a portfolio of 10 CBD shophouses ($82.5 million), The Claremont Hotel (S$68 million), 265-271 South Bridge Road (S$54 million), a portfolio of 14 7-Eleven shops (S$45 million) and over 50 shophouses.
