SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - CapitaLand Development has opened a new executive learning centre at Rochester Commons, a mixed-use development in Buona Vista. The space is developed and managed by CapitaLand Development.

Rochester Commons also houses business hotel Citadines Connect Rochester Singapore, by The Ascott Ltd. The 135-room hotel has a mix of studio units, including premium and deluxe units.

“Catapult is strategically located in Singapore’s one-north precinct, home to a vibrant cluster of renowned business schools and institutes for higher learning. Designed based on the principles of innovation and openness, Catapult is specially created to fulfil the requirements of corporate universities, learning and development units of organisations and executive business schools,” says Tan Yew Chin, CEO of CapitaLand Development.

Tan adds that Catapult has been curated to accommodate local, regional, and international C-suites and executives. Catapult has also welcomed IMD Southeast Asia Executive Learning Centre and Human Capital Leadership Institutes as partners.

The 54,000 sq ft space occupies part of the second floor and the entire third floor at Rochester Commons. Some of its facilities include Singapore’s first commercial 180-degree and 360-degree immersive studios with the latest Igloo immersive technology. Each of these studios are fitted with hybrid-ready video cameras.

Catapult also features a 200-seat auditorium, 26 learning studios, an executive boardroom, and a media creation studio. These rooms are fitted with high-quality sound proofing, acoustics and cameras to facilitate streaming.
