SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - Bukit Sembawang Estates has sold all 39 units in Comtemporary Collection, the final phase of Luxus Hills. Average prices of intermediate terraced houses were from $3.35 million to $3.4 million, or $2,070 psf to $2,100 psf based on  land area.

"We have set a new benchmark with pricing for intermediate terraces," says Ho Jenny, general manager of marketing at Bukit Sembawang Estates.

The sales were achieved in just a fortnight of private previews which started on Feb 14. Luxus Hills is a 999-year, leasehold private housing estate located off Ang Mo Kio Avenue 5. It was first launched over a decade ago.

All the units in the Contemporary Collection are fully completed. Thirty out of the 39 houses are inter-terraces; six are corner terraces; two are semi-detached houses; and one is a villa. All the houses are five-bedroom, landed properties which sit on sites ranging from 1,615 sq ft to 6,092 sq ft, with built-up areas of 3,703 sq ft to 6,028 sq ft.

Bukit Sembawang offered normal payment scheme and several deferred payment schemes to cater to home buyers awaiting proceeds from the sale of their existing properties or from collective sales.

For instance, under the Stay & Pay Scheme, buyers need only pay a 20% downpayment and can move in immediately. Meanwhile, the Reservation Scheme allows buyers to reserve their properties with a 10% deposit.

According to Bukit Sembawang's Ho, 58% of the buyers opted for the normal payment scheme, with 42% choosing the deferred payment scheme.

"We are encouraged by the strong response from discerning buyers who were taken by the modern architectural designs, spacious layouts, quality finishing and thoughtful touches offered with our homes," comments Ho.

Now that the latest phase of Luxus Hills is fully sold, Bukit Sembawang will focus on the release of the next few phases of the 99-year, leasehold houses at Nim Collection on Nim Road, located near Luxus Hills, just off Ang Mo Kio Avenue 5.
