A new 34-unit residential development in Joo Chiat will launch over the weekend of May 4 and 5. It is the first apartment project by privately owned K16 Development, which has a track record of building landed homes and bungalows.

Located at 50 Lorong 101 Changi, the freehold development is called Olloi – a play on its address. It is a redevelopment of the former Pomex Court which was sold en bloc for $37.6 million ($1,014 psf per plot ratio) in June 2018.

The new development is targeted towards young couples and younger families, and units comprise three- and four bedroom units and penthouses, sizes range from 947 sq ft to 1,593 sq ft. A three-bedroom unit is expected to be priced from about $1.6 million ($1,689.5 psf), according to the developer. “Olloi is a home that is built to last and an asset to be passed on to future generations,” says Grace Yang, general manager of K16 Development.

Designed by local architectural firm Park + Associates, the façade of the development is inspired by the heritage shophouses in the surrounding Joo Chiat, Paya Lebar, and East Coast areas. The five-storey development comes with underground carpark space and includes a 25-metre pool on the ground floor.
