SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - EL Development and piped town gas provider City Energy are working to provide units at Blossoms by the Park with environmentally friendly home solutions. In an April 13 press release, City Energy says the 275-unit development at Slim Barracks Rise is “the first condominium in Singapore to be fitted out with fully integrated green and smart kitchen solutions powered by City Energy’s piped town gas”. Blossoms By the Park will preview on April 14.

Seven hundred fifty gas appliances from Küche, a brand owned by City Energy, will be installed in the development's three- and four-bedroom apartments and four-bedroom penthouses. The appliances comprise smart hobs, cooker hoods and built-in smart electric ovens. The appliances are fully interoperable and can be controlled remotely through an iAppliances smartphone app.

Through the app, residents can monitor gas consumption, pre-programme recipes, and respond to safety alerts, including a feature enabling users to turn off the gas hob remotely.

In addition to the kitchen appliances, City Energy, via its electric vehicle (EV) charging service arm Go by City Energy (Go), will install three EV charging points at Blossoms by the Park. The condo is one of more than 25 new private condominiums to be fitted with Go’s EV charging services.

Perry Ong, CEO of City Energy, says: “We are proud to be the brand owner for Küche, a premium brand that provides smart IoT-enabled and eco-friendly solutions for new private home developments. Through these and our town gas, EV charging and solar energy solutions, we offer sustainable solutions for property developers to enhance their competitive advantage further.”

Lim Yew Soon, managing director of EL Development, adds: “At EL Development, we are always looking for new ways to excite our home buyers and offer them well-designed homes that are also assets. The Küche kitchen appliances and EV charging solution powered by City Energy are a great fit for Blossoms by the Park, as they elevate our savvy home buyers' eco and technological needs.”
