City Developments Limited (CDL) was presented with the Top Developer Award at the inaugural EdgeProp Singapore Excellence Awards 2017. Its luxury project, the 174-unit Gramercy Park, won the Development Excellence Award (Central) and its 519-unit Forest Woods on Lorong Lew Lian earned the Marketing Excellence Award.

“In land-scarce Singapore, Gramercy Park in the prime District 10 area stands out as a rare, freehold property with spacious apartments,” says Sherman Kwek, CDL’s CEOdesignate. “It sits on an expansive site of about 170,000 sq ft, which is very hard to come by, offering residents the luxury of sweeping greenery and well-spaced facilities. Meanwhile, Forest Woods met the pent-up demand for housing in Serangoon Central, where there had not been a major launch for a number of years. “It was a highly anticipated project that came across as a compelling purchase for new homebuyers, upgraders and investors,” says Kwek. The project is about 90% sold so far.
