Developed by UOL Group, United Industrial Corp and Kheng Leong Co in a 50:30:20 joint venture, Avenue South Residence comprises twin 56-storey towers and five conserved four-storey apartment blocks with 86 “limited-edition" units. Called the Heritage Collection, the five conserved blocks were built by the former Singapore Improvement Trust (SIT) – the predecessor of HDB - and are similar to those built in the Tiong Bahru conservation area.
Units in the two high-rise towers are divided into two different collections: those on the lower floors are called the Horizon Collection, while those from the 37th to 56th floors make up the Peak Collection. Befitting its name, units in the Peak Collection come with private lift lobby, high-end finishing and fittings including Gaggenau appliances.
Each collection will have a mix of one- to four-bedroom apartments, with sizes ranging from 474 to 1,688 sq ft. The developers are offering the first 300 apartments at prices ranging from $858,000 for the one-bedroom units to $1.15 million for the two-bedroom units. Half of the units in the development will be priced below $1.5 million.
In terms of average prices, units at Heritage Collection are around $1,780 psf, while those of the Horizon Collection are at $1,980 psf, and the Peak Collection has prices from $2,250 psf.
Avenue South Residence is located on Silat Avenue, just off Kampong Bahru Road in the CBD fringe. It is also near the upcoming Greater Southern Waterfront development and the Rail Corridor.
