Buyers, sellers, and real estate investors alike can now look forward to learning from the experts at Assembly. The school will house webinars and masterclasses for property enthusiasts, investors, media creatives, and even aspiring and practising realtors. These courses will be conducted virtually and in person in PLB’s upcoming event space.
"This new series for realtors speaks to one of PLB’s missions and is something our founders Melvin [Lim] and Adrian [Lim] have always wanted to do, which is to reintroduce meaning and confidence into the work that real estate consultants and media creatives do,” says Grayce.
The school, scheduled to open in 2H 2024, will feature accessible and affordable courses, masterclasses and in-person seminars about buying and selling property, property investments, dealing in commercial and industrial properties, and how to best market and present listings, to name a few. One such masterclass is the Niche Positioning Series.
“The series will be taught personally by Melvin, our co-founder and CEO, alongside a team of veteran realtors who come with a combined 50+ years of experience and are at the top of their field,” says Grayce. “One of our values [referencing the famed quote by Philip Dormer Stanhope, the fourth Earl of Chesterfield] is that whatever is worth doing is worth doing well. We’re beyond excited to continue transforming the real estate market.”
In 2024, the team aims to heighten the experience with the newly launched Assembly. All past and present webinars will be available on the new Assembly website (assembly.sg), with past webinars from 2023 made free to stream.
The webinars, which are conducted monthly, feature various consultants from PropertyLimBrothers’ team.
“This is another challenge that we’re taking on to continue to add value to our audiences this year,” says Grayce, who notes that hosting such webinars requires about 20 to 30 hours of research done by the PLB Real Estate Knowledge Institute (REKI) team in addition to the extensive behind-the-scenes preparations. The entire set-up, she adds, is done in-house – from the media crew who sets up the studio and produces the webinar to the slides, charts and so on. The marketing – from crafting the material to promoting the teasers and consolidating sign-ups – is also done by the PLB Media team.
“Our webinars are always driven by data and presented mostly with charts that we churn out. In any webinar, there are hundreds of charts alone, and the team prides itself in ensuring that our webinars are data-backed,” Grayce stresses.
“The charts are then given to the presenters to analyse, break down and develop into frameworks for property investing for our audience,” she adds.

Aside from the usual webinars, Assembly has a few masterclasses in the pipeline. The Niche Positioning Series, a fundamental class for realtors, aims to transform real estate businesses into sustainable and lucrative ventures. This will be the first to launch in Assembly’s line-up of masterclasses.
“Our PLB realtors and creatives are not just transactors but also experts within their field. We are excited about the new academy as it will allow the team to create more value in the market. We hope to show our realtors and creatives their work is valuable and allow them to speak directly to real estate enthusiasts and creatives to do meaningful work. The bottom line is that everything—big or small—must be done with integrity and pride,” she adds.

The coming months are building up to be an exciting time for PLB. Following the success of their first live debate in 2024, which saw the panel discuss the pros and cons of buying a resale condominium unit versus purchasing a resale HDB flat on March 22, the second was on 28 June, when Melvin shared investment considerations when purchasing a New Launch versus a Resale Condo.
“These live debates are a continuation of similar debates from our webinar series held last year when we had about 50 people attending two such sessions at our ground floor studio,” says Grayce.

“That, in turn, came from our webinar discussing landed property, which saw over 1,000 sign-ups. We realised that there were people who were interested in connecting with us. We then took a leap of faith, organised the debate, and were happy and humbled that over 400 people registered for the hybrid debate,” she adds.
