Global hospitality brand Accor has announced the opening of Novotel Nara in Nara, Japan. The 264-key property is an eight-minute walk from Shin-Omiya Station and a five-minute cab ride from Nara Station. Attractions nearby include the Todai-ji Temple and Kasuga Taisha Shrine, both Unesco World Heritage sites. Nara is about a 35 to 40-minute train ride from Kyoto and Osaka.
The hotel includes a rooftop terrace on the eighth floor, a lounge area, and an all-day dining restaurant. It also has conference facilities, two banquet rooms, a fitness centre, a public bath and a wellness lounge.
