On Dec 5, AccorHotels and Dubai-based master developer Nakheel signed an agreement to open two new projects at Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah – a hotel and a serviced residence under the Raffles Hotels & Resorts brand. Nakheel is the master developer of Palm Jumeirah, an artificial archipelago located off the coast of Dubai.

The 125-room Raffles The Palm Dubai Hotel and the 359-unit Raffles Residences PALM360 will form the two-tower development PALM360. The serviced residence component will include 16 penthouses, each of which will feature a private infinity pool, a gym and a cinema.

At nearly 260m high, PALM360 is set to be the tallest structure on Palm Jumeirah, says AccorHotels and Nakheel. This means it will offer sweeping views of Palm Jumeirah, the Arabian Gulf coastline and the skyline of Dubai.

Facilities at PALM360 include a 155m sky pool – which will connect the two towers at 170m above ground level – two rooftop restaurants, and a children’s club. The development is slated to open in 2021.
